This program includes three 1-year rotations within various disciplines. These disciplines include, but are not limited to, opportunities in:Application/Automation Development
Cloud Engineering
Data & Analytics
Emerging Digital Technologies
Global ERP, IT Finance, & HR IT Capabilities
Infrastructure Engineering
IT Security
Network Engineering
Technical CapabilitiesAssignments will typically be at one of our sites located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma or Houston, Texas. There may also be limited opportunities available in Anchorage, Alaska. All IT University New Hires will begin their employment with our 8-week “Navigate” onboarding program in Bartlesville, OK before being assigned to their long-term location. You may be eligible for the voluntary hybrid office work (HOW) program that is designed to provide employees with flexibility while maintaining the advantages of in-person engagement.Job DescriptionResponsibilities may include:Identifying and implementing e-solutions that enhance our business model and streamline processesDeveloping and supporting automation processes across enterprise functionsTranslating business requirements into analytics solutionsDeveloping, implementing, and supporting network security processesUtilizing a wide range of technologies including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data warehousing, telecommunications, and databases to deliver IT servicesDeveloping technical direction to gain competitive advantage in scientific computing areas (visualization, storage networks, etc.)Basic/Required:Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institutionBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field or foreign equivalentCurrent level in college: SeniorExpected graduation date: Fall 2024 through Spring/Summer 2025Preferred:Willing to work in either of these locations: Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Houston, Texas or Anchorage, AlaskaA minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scaleProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to generate effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethicalAbility to invite dialogue to gain a shared understanding and influences with confidence to drive performance and achieve business resultsDemonstrates an understanding of how key financial and quantitative indicators impact the businessConocoPhillips will conduct interviews at many universities in the U.S. during the Fall of 2024.
