The clinic specializes in after-hours care for canine and feline patients, offering a crucial service that bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care. • Exclusive Urgent Care Focus : This role involves treating only urgent care cases such as wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia—there are no routine wellness exams or elective surgeries.
• Flexible Schedule : Offering swing/second shifts , the clinic emphasizes flexibility to ensure a healthy work-life balance for its staff.
• No Abdominal Surgeries : The practice is focused on urgent care with no abdominal surgeries required.
• Fear-Free & Feline-Friendly : The clinic prioritizes a Fear-Free approach for all patients and maintains a feline-friendly practice.
• Modern Technology : The facility is equipped with cloud-based EMR , digital x-ray , and a complete suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment for effective and efficient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate and high-quality care to patients with a relationship-based approach.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to maintain high standards of care and a positive workplace culture.
• Foster relationships within the clinic and the broader Orlando community.
• Support the development and growth of veterinary support staff through the clinic’s LevelUp training program .
• Manage a diverse caseload, including urgent care appointments and surgeries during the clinic’s operating hours.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
• Active and in-good-standing license to practice in Florida (or ability to obtain licensure).
