Senior Helpers is currently recruiting professional, caring, and reliable caregivers to work with our senior clients that need a helping hand with daily ADLs, errands, rides to doctor’s appointments, and companionship from energetic people to fill their time during the day while the family is at work or school. • Companionship and conversation
• Personal Care (assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, feeding)
• Light Housekeeping/Household Management (incl. laundry and linen changing)
• Apparel selection (i.e. laying out clothes)
• Meal planning and preparation
• Medication reminders
• Mobility support (standby assist, transfer, hoyer lift)
• Transportation using own or client’s vehicle
• Helping family members learn safe care techniques
• Tolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats)

Qualifications

• Prior experience in caregiving or a related field
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)

Expected salary

$16.5 – 17.5 per hour
