Job Description

Jacksons Lane is seeking a new Visitor Experience Manager to join our team. As the flagship arts and cultural venue in Haringey, Jacksons Lane hosts a year-round programme encompassing the best in contemporary circus performance, arts participation activities, cultural education, and outreach work for both its community and the sector as a whole. This is an exciting time to join Jacksons Lane as we prepare to celebrate our 50th anniversary with a host of events throughout 2025 and prepare for borough of culture to come to Haringey in 2027.

We are looking for someone with an excellent approach to visitor experience, and who can manage our brilliant Front of House and Box Office teams. Having experience working in a busy arts venue is vital and being able to prioritise is a key skill. Our Visitor Experience Manager is based at the Welcome Desk two days a week and three days a week from the office.

Job Requirements

To manage all aspects of the customer experience function at Jacksons Lane including our Front of House team, scheduling shifts for the zero-hour staff, training and recruiting new staff, financial reconciliation and supporting with the management of our Supporters scheme. This also includes administrating and monitoring the Box Office system, working to enhance the overall visitor experience, and ensuring best practice is followed throughout the full Front of House team. This role will support the General Manager on day-to-day maintenance matters and work closely with the Hires & Events Manager to provide an excellent customer experience for those hiring the building. This role is based on the Welcome Desk 2 days a week and 3 days in the office.
