Warehouse Shipping Clerk

specializing in distributing industrial and hydraulic hoses, fittings,
and related products is looking for a shipping clerk. This is a direct hire position

As a Warehouse Shipping Clerk, you will work within
the warehouse and shipping/receiving department, while also gaining
cross-training in other areas. You must be reliable, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills to excel in this role.

Warehouse Shipping Clerk Job Duties:

• Prepare
  shipments for postal or commercial conveyance, ensuring the most
  economical and efficient shipping methods.
• Safely pack
  items for secure delivery and prepare bills of lading.
• Verify shipment
  accuracy by comparing items to work orders.
• Receive and
  unload incoming materials, confirming packing slip information with
  purchase orders.
• Organize,
  stock, and label inventory for shipment or receipt.
• Assist in cycle
  counts and maintain accurate records.
• Inspect
  shipments for damages or discrepancies and notify supervisors accordingly.
• Operate pallet
  jacks and forklifts as needed.
• Maintain a
  clean and organized shipping area and assist with routine equipment
  maintenance.
• Perform other
  tasks as required to ensure smooth shipping operations.

Pay:
$22.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Warehouse Shipping Clerk Requirements:

• 6+ months of
  experience in shipping and receiving
• Experience with shipping and receiving
• Ability to walk, stand, and lift to 50 lbs during the shift.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with technology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout the shift.
• Work in moderately noisy warehouse environments.
• Occasional outdoor work in inclement weather conditions.
