This is an exciting time to join our team because we are currently preparing for one of the most important events in the Collection’s history. We are moving our two collection stores (currently in London and Yorkshire) into one pioneering storage facility in Coventry. The Collection Technician (sculpture) will work closely with the Collections team to support all aspects of the collection management and the store move to Coventry.
Art Handling experience, preferably working with an art collection.
The aptitude to learn and confidently use a collection management system specifically for location and movement control for artworks (training will be provided).
Demonstrable woodworking skills, ideally experience of case making.
Ability to demonstrate a practical and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
Is confident in their ability to utilise IT skills (including MS Office and Google Drive).
